Friday morning Ryan and I woke up early to leave our house by 7:30am for the Hodge’s lake house. We didn’t want to get stuck in traffic or road blocks for the Scottsville Parade that day. We got down at a great time. It took us about 2 hrs and 15min or so. When we arrived we were invited to a neighborhood gathering for the 4th. We also got to see new baby Noah, Ashley & Mike Prince’s little one. He is soo adorable too. Skylar loved him! Not too long after the little gathering did we get to go on the boat. My favorite part. Then we grilled out some chicken and pork and watched fire works. Noah was a bit scared, but it was his first time. However, Skylar loved them, she kept saying “good job daddy, more daddy more” – she is so precious. 
Saturday it sadly rained the majority of the day, so we just laid low and then Sunday turned out to be so beautiful we were out most of the day before we had to head home.
All in all we had a wonderful weekend – no complaints :)

great pics! Had a great time! Skylar says she had so much fun with Ms Kelly & Mr.Ryan and Noah and Ms Ashley and Mr. Mike!! She was ready to go back to the "beach"when we got home! Forturnately we are headed to the real beach tonight! Have a good one!
