Chi Omega Babies

Thanks to Christine and Dylan, my sorority sisters and our families got to go up to their family home in Wintergreen.  We did miss you Ashley, Avery and Chris - hope you are enjoying CA!  And Maddie we missed you, Joshua James and Juliet and Josh; I am sure you are all enjoying your precious baby girl, Juliet!  We had a nice time on Saturday with everyone who came and those who had babies we snapped away...

Matthew's First Valentine's Day

Matthew had a nice 1st Valentine's day with his Daddy and Mommy.  He was a great well behaved boy at the Downtown Grille!  I was a bad mom and forgot to get Daddy in the pictures with us.  Ryan is always so good in remembering to take pictures, but then he wasn't in any :(

Here are a few more pictures of Matthew lately!  He is trying to sit up but still not as interested in rolling over.  No worries, hopefully he will continue to be my chill baby boy!  I love being home with him more each and every  day!  

Me and Matthew at the store today!  He still likes his sling and I think mom doesn't want him out of it either - he is much easier to carry in the sling than carry without it.

Matthew likes Peas!

Matthew Loves His Peas!  I had fun making some baby food for Matthew.  I steamed peas, squash and zucchini and then pureed them.  The peas I had to add a little water to puree them and now they are perfect.  He has tried Peas for a few days and loves them.  Next he will try either squash or zucchini.  I froze the other stuff I made in the baby food cube trays.  Hopefully he will continue liking his veggies like his mom!

Another Big Snow

My mom has come to visit!  It has been nice to have her in town for a while.



And of course we have ANOTHER BIG SNOW!  Ryan took some more photos.  It is beautiful, but I cannot wait till Summer! :)

Matthew's 6 Month Appointment

He had some shots today along with the H1N1 Vaccine and the regular Flu Vaccine.  I still have to get the H1N1 Vaccine for Matthew per his pediatrician since we are still nursing :)  - My goal is to not procrastinate any further and will try tomorrow!  Matthew is now 27 in long and 19 lbs 8 oz all in the 95th percentile!  He is a healthy growing boy.  We are going to try every now and then some new foods besides his rice cereal.  I think we may start with Squash and Zucchini - mom is going to attempt to make his baby food since it is much cheaper, but it does take more time :) We'll see how it goes.  More to come on the subject in a few weeks.

Matthew was 6 MONTHS Today!

Matthew was 6 Months today!  I cannot believe he is half a year :)  He is trying to roll over on his own, getting very close and he enjoys trying to sit up on his own too.  He hasnt quit reached those steps yet, but he is very observant.  It is fine by us if he wants to take his time because the faster he moves the sooner we will have to invest in some baby gates.  Well enjoy the photos below.  A video and stats on his 6 Month Appointment will come tomorrow.

Grandma and Papa (Ryan's parents) made Matthew a nice t-shirt to wear to the UVA basketball games.  Hopefully one day we can get Matthew and TB in a picture together :)
