Today I am 11 weeks and 3 days and counting :-) 200 days till August 7, 2009. We are doing well. Looking forward to the ultrasound on Thursday!

Last week, I had my prenatal water and yoga classes as usual, Junior League on Tuesday, the UNC vs UVA game on Thursday and the Friday night Ryan and I stayed in and laid low. We got Christian's Pizza for dinner; MY FAVORITE :)

Saturday, I went through the closet in the smaller guest room to try and make it as organized as possible. Ryan and I gave a lot of things away too to Salvation Army! We then had to go buy a new humidifier. Our old one was super pricey and broke :( I need the humidifier because otherwise our room just gets so dry; I didn't seem to have any problems when I was younger, my parents need to tell me the trick :) Anyways now we have a new humidifier which I love and it was MUCH cheaper than the one that broke, so hopefully this one will last a while.

Anyways, let me get back on track, Saturday night, we went to dinner with Katie and Michael. That was nice; a treat from them to us! And then came home to pretty much crash.

Sunday, we slept in and was pretty lazy all day and Erin brought Chloe over to see me and Ryan. She is so cute and precious! It was a nice surprise. :) This was Abby's first experience with a newborn around. Abby was shaking whenever Chloe was crying; she was unsure what to do. Then Abby saw Chloe's pacifier and attached to it is a little red dog to help her hold it. Oh once Abby saw that she thought it was a toy for her. Anyways, Abby did ok and was just not sure what this newborn was all about. Then that evening we went to church and ended the night with continued laziness by picking up Chinese food :)

It is nice to have lazy weekends every now and then. I figure Ryan and I should enjoy them, since it will be different when we have our little one around.

As far as this week:
tonight - I have my prenatal water class after work
tomorrow - our work is having yummy pizza for inauguration and then I have my prenatal yoga class after work
Wednesday - nothing exciting
Thursday - OUR 1ST ultrasound!!!! yippee!!! we are sooo excited! and then I have my prenatal water class after work and then off to book club
Friday - probably laying low
Saturday - off to DC for Bernie's Bachelorette Party and return Sunday

Week 10

Today, I am 10 weeks and 4 days and counting :) Still hanging in there and doing pretty well. This past weekend Ryan and I laid pretty low. I babysat on Friday night and then Saturday went to our HOA mtg. Following that Ryan came with me to attend and informational session/social as part of my prenatal program. We learned some about how to read your baby and know what it is trying to say before it can actually talk. It was interesting and made a lot of sense. Saturday afternoon we headed over to Capps' house just to watch the bball game (VT vs UVA at Blacksburg). Sunday we went to church and just hung around the house. All in all it was nice to have a relaxing weekend!

Sorry there was nothing too exciting this time, but next week only a few more days and the first ultrasound picture will be seen :) YEA!

Me & New Baby White

We are 9 weeks as of January 2nd and we are both doing very well. I haven't vomited which is great. Hopefully I will have my mom's genes all the way through. I love counting down the weeks and I am just praying for a healthy baby. We have our first ultrasound on January 22nd, so God Willing we will be able to hear the heart beat. As my belly gets bigger I will take pictures to post and we will try and do a better job of updating the blog. My goal to to keep everyone updated on our progress as well as still our adventures in our life.

We are excited!

My sister and brother had the best reaction. I took a picture of them at Brunch when we got in Christmas Day and they read our card we gave them to tell them the news. I think our families are all very ecstatic. All went well.

We got to see baby Carson too, My cousin, Renee and Chris's first son. He was born on October 23rd, 2008. That was a blast to spend time with him.


Visiting Dallas to see my Mom's family was wonderful. We enjoyed every moment!

After Dallas we headed to Miami for the Orange Bowl. and YES, the outcome was fabulous because my HOKIES WON!! YEA!!! Plus the weather couldn't have been more perfect, I didn't want to go back to the Virginia cold :(

It was nice to see my dad and Whittney too. I was able to ask my dad lots of questions and he helped guide me in certain directions during my pregnancy.

THE BIG DAY!!!

Yea! It is finally official. Now that my family all knows, I can finally tell the world! Ryan and I are expecting! Yes, I am PREGNANT and we are having a BABY! I am 8 weeks TODAY! We are very excited! DUE DATE: August 7, 2009

Redskins Game

Sunday, December 21st, 2008 Michael, Katie, Ryan and I all went to the Redskins Phily game, thanks to Michael, for the day. We ended up meeting up with Nikki Gene and Kristin and Scott. We tailgated and had a blast of course I was sober dd :) I enjoyed my hot cider :)

Now, this finally brings us to this week…

Less than a week from the big day. This has been a busy week. I had my review on Wednesday and yea, I passed. I can come back in January! Wednesday Night I had a dinner at Bel Rio in Belmont with my Bookclub girls. Friday night and am babysitting and then Saturday day and night I am babysitting. Monday I am volunteering and then headed to Ellen’s for a wrapping my gifts social. Tuesday I have taken a half day of vacation since I found out I had a half day left to use. Then that night I will be babysitting too. Wednesday morning (Christmas Eve) we will be driving to Raleigh with Abby to stay with Ryan’s parents. Then on Thursday, Christmas Day, We will be flying in the AM to Dallas to see Kendra, Kyle and the rest of my fam! Yea! That is the BIG DAY! We will be in Dallas for about a week and then head back and go to Miami for the Orange Bowl. We will be watching Virginia Tech play University of Cincinnati. We will meet my dad and Whittney down there. I am looking forward to my first bowl game to watch my Hokies play and seeing my dad of course! Thanks to him we have a ticket and a place to stay!

Oh my how time seems to just fly by…

I cannot believe it is already December. I am in awe that Christmas is less than a week away. I cannot wait for Christmas and to see all my family! These past couple of months I have been busy with Junior League of Charlottesville Meetings, Junior League Volunteer Opportunities, Volunteering my Mondays in the Women’s Place at UVA, babysitting for three different families and book club. With all of that in the mix I still manage to try and spend some time with my hubby and Abby of course.

Where I left off was back on the weekend of October 24th Ryan and I went to the Georgia Tech vs. UVA game. UVA did win. We stayed with the Moore’s at their house. It was a very nice weekend and we really enjoyed our time down there. Caps was our driver, oh wait jk, we drove Caps down there and back. I met a few of Matt’s friends which were extremely nice.

The following weekend, October 31st, Friday was free burrito day at Chipotle as long as you were wearing a piece of aluminum foil. So, I got a free burrito for lunch! That weekend we were also invited to the Weaver’s Halloween party. They made terrific Stew with deer meat, moose meat etc. It was great! We took Abby there too – she enjoyed herself, but didn’t know what to do when she saw their pet dear, Baby. Baby is a big dear who comes up to you and lets you pet it and we were able to get a couple photos with my phone. It was so dark; they didn’t turn out too well, but if I can figure out how to get them off my phone, I will show you.

The following Weekend Ryan and I got to drive down to the Wake Forest vs. UVA game. That was nice because we tailgated a little before and were able to stay at a hotel, which I love staying at hotels with my hubby and then after the game we had dinner with a friend of Ryan’s who works for the Deacon Club and I got to meet his wife too.

The next exciting event was the weekend of the 21st of November. Brian and his wife, Kim, came up to visit us from Raleigh. They came for the Clemson game weekend. Kim is a Clemson grad and I introduced her to Katie who too is a Clemson grad. All six of us including Michael hung out that day and night. We had a great time!

Before long, Thanksgiving snuck up on us. The Monday prior to Thanksgiving Ryan and I decided to do a date night with just the two of us. We went to Fluerie a restaurant we hadn’t tried. We both enjoy our meal; it was very good and a nice quaint atmosphere.

For Thanksgiving we drove Grammie and Abby down to Ryan’s parents. We spent a day or two there before we headed back to Charlottesville. Then the following morning Ryan and I drove to Blacksburg, to see my alma matter play Virginia. I was able to catch up and see a lot of friends along with my boss and his family. It was a really nice time a great long weekend which went by way too fast! The following weekend - first weekend of December. Friday night Ryan had his Christmas Party and Saturday morning Ryan and I volunteered for the toy lift which was a great experience. Then that night we went to my work Christmas Party at Alice’s house. That was very nice, catered with great food! The following weekend Ryan and I left for Shane’s graduation, with Kyle and Abby of Course. We had a nice dinner with Ryan’s mom and my mom. Then we were at Shane’s UNC graduation all day Sunday. We got to see family which was very nice too! If I get any pictures back from Family I will add them too.

I am a few weeks behind so had to think back on where to start….

Saturday the 4th, Ryan had the work the pre-game. In the meantime I took Randy & Meredith to King Family Winery in Crozet and then we went to Starr Hill Brewery in Crozet as well. We too tried some Crozet Pizza (very good) and then headed to tailgate for the Maryland Game. After the game Ryan, Randy, Meredith and I tailgated for a little longer. I will have pictures up soon from this day.

Friday the 10th, Renee came into town with Jay. I connected the two of them. Jay flew into Richmond Airport where Renee picked him up on her way into Charlottesville. We went to a late dinner with Katie and Michael.

Saturday the 11th, Ryan and I woke early. I went to a ropes course for Junior League and Ryan had to work the pregame as usual. Once I returned Sarah drove me, Renee and Jay to the game. After the game all of met Katie, Michael and Caroline! Yea, Caroline was in town too, a mini high school reunion. We all tailgated together, then came home to re-group and head to McGrady’s for dinner where we was a good time, too bad I couldn’t spend more time with Caroline.

Sunday the 12th, I attended Suzanne’s baby shower. She’s due with Baby Owen in December, sooo exciting. She is my friend, neighbor and hair stylist, cannot beat that! After her baby shower Ryan and I headed to Alice’s house for a fun country barn work party where we learned how to square dance!

And finally I have caught up to this past weekend. Friday Ryan flew to Cincinnati to hang out with Kyle and my dad and see the Bengals vs. Steelers game today. Friday night I babysat and Saturday day I babysat as well. I love babysitting. They are all so cute, each have their own personality and are just so adorable. Saturday night I had Dinner at Sarah’s and then came home to finish watching my Hokies loose (sooo sad). I slept in this morning which felt great! Then I just did laundry, took Abby on a jog, and went to church. It was a nice and relaxing day, but I did miss my hubby this weekend! I cannot wait till I pick him up at the airport tomorrow!

This week, I have Junior League on Tuesday and Thursday I have book club, which I am looking forward to since I missed the last one. Friday, Ryan and I will be driving to Atlanta for the Georgia Tech vs. UVA game. We will be there for the weekend. Hopefully I will get some pictures from there too.

And now for this week, I have been a busy bee again.

· Monday, I volunteered and then had dinner with my hubby

· Tuesday Abby and I went to cheer on Ry at his softball game and they won!

· Wednesday I had a jewelry, drinks and fun party with some junior league girls

· Last night, I babysat and….

· Tonight I am babysitting too then going to meet up with Ryan and Meredith & Randy who come into town tonight for the Maryland game.

· Tomorrow we will be chillin and then headed to the 7PM Maryland vs UVA game at Scott Stadium.
