As I am sure some of you may have noticed, I have been MIA in postings. Well, we have been out of town on vacation. This year we took a Celebrity Cruise out of San Juan, Puerto Rico and we cruised to St Thomas, St Croix, St Kitts, Antigua, and St Lucia and then 1 day at Sea. Our 7 night cruise was terrific and Matthew was amazing. Such a good baby boy to bring with us. He loved his vacation too and took all his naps in his stroller. He was a trooper living the life. Our assigned dinner was at 6pm and we were at a table with a very nice young couple like us and their little boy who was only 17 days older than Matthew. Matthew made friends with him and really was excited to see him every night for dinner. Hopefully we can keep in touch with their family as they were very sweet! Matthew and the little boy Phillip were so similar in so many ways including their mannerisms. Below are a few pictures from the trip...

Matthew's 1st Easter!
We laid low this Easter and enjoyed the nice weather God gave us for the weekend! Today we went to church, brunch outside and then of course a trip to the grocery store where Matthew enjoyed lounging in the cart. Today Matthew met 2 babies which with 4 and 5 days younger than Matthew. It was neat to see the similarities. Hope you all enjoy a few of the pictures from Easter Sunday.

Matthew - 8 MONTHS OLD!
Wow, Matthew is 8 months old! He is rolling over like a champ now, but still needs some assistance with his sitting up. He sits up for a little before falling to one side or another or even backwards. He is so much fun to be around and watch grow. Hope you enjoy the photos and video. :)

Matthew's Baptism
The last full week of March Matthew and I were preparing for our family and visitors who came into town to help us celebrate and witness the Baptism of Matthew Ryan! We would like to thank you all who were able to attend and thank everyone for all the generous gifts for Matthew. They are all a great start to his college fund!

Practice with two kiddos...
So, today, I was able to experience what it could be like with two kids close in age. I watched Owen most of the day today. Owen is 7 months older than Matthew, which I guess I physically could not have kids that close in age. But it was fun great practice! Matthew just likes to watch Owen and Owen shares his toys every now and then with Matthew. Owen had dinner with us at my house and we also went to the school to go on the swings. Matthew was in my carrier and Owen was in the stroller; I even took Abby up the street with us and then brought her back to hang with dad (Ryan) while Matthew and Owen had their swing fix after dinner. They both were great and Owen is VERY well behaved! Now, Abby does need to practice her manners with Owen as Owen wants to play with Abby's toys and tennis balls and Abby does not like that. But Abby does like when Owen gives her some turkey from his dinner. Well all in all our day went great! Nap time was a bit tricky between the two homes, but we managed it with the help of Ryan. Ryan was very busy today working on the lawn and painting and organizing our garage, making it all nice and better for us in the long run! Today was a fun and busy day; tomorrow is pretty busy too, but at least it is beautiful out. Cannot beat the 75 degree temps in March for Charlottesville!
