Halloween

Matthew was Brobee from Yo Gabba Gabba and Lily was a strawberry.  Matthew, Lily Ryan and I went to a few Halloween Parties on Friday.   Dave, Lisa and Dylan came to visit with us Saturday and Saturday night.  On Monday, I hung in with Lily, passed out candy and Matthew went trick-or-treating with Daddy.  I think he really enjoyed himself :)

Evan's 3rd Birthday Party

Matthew attended Evan's Birthday Party this weekend too which was at a firehouse.  He was so excited and loved to see the firetrucks.  He just says fire whenever he hears a siren.

Matthew tried his first popcicle

Dylan introduced a popcicle to Matthew.  Matthew had a few licks and was done just as he does with all sweets.  He takes after Dad in that part.  Hopefully it lasts :)

Chiles Peach Orchard

We went with a bunch of moms from the playgroup I am in and Matthew was able to pick some pumpkins and apples. I think he really enjoyed himself and he loves his new rain boats and Elmo hat as you can see from some of these pictures. 

Uncle Jay & Aunt Janet's Visit

This weekend, Uncle Jay and Aunt Janet came to visit on Saturday for the NC State vs UVA game here in Charlottesville.  Matthew and Lily had fun with them.  Matthew enjoyed the game as usual and does enjoy seeing all mascots.  He was looking out for both, Wolfy and Cav Man.  He loved being able to wear his football jersey too! 

This morning we went to church with them and Matthew had fun in the nursery, then headed to Bodos as usual and came home to change.  Then we all headed back out and went on a walk on the Monticello Trail.  2 mi up and 2 mi back down; so much fun!  Matthew walked almost a mile of it and Lily was carried down the whole way.  They were great kids and enjoyed the time with Jay and Janet!

Matthew's 1st Dentist Appt

Today, Matthew had his first Dentist Appt!  They cleaned his teeth and flossed them, which now we have to start doing for him too :)  He did a great job.  He had his mellow demeanor and watched Gabba but held on to big bird real tight.  I wasn't sure he was going to give up his passy but he was a trooper and no crying :)  He made them pry open his mouth a couple times.  Ryan came to help and see his first eperience which was great!  The fatest dentist appt I have ever been too :) 

Oh and one last thing, matthew was able to pick one toy from the waiting room to take into the dentist chair with him and he took Arial from the little mermaid; ha, I think he will be so excited when he will get to play with some of Lily's girl toys when she gets older.  He is funny :)

He was a great boy today and was so happy for him;  he let me floss his teeth tonight :) We may make a star chart for him to so him how good he is with his teeth. 

I have to say I LOVE being home with Matthew and Lily.  They are amazing, lots of work, but so much fun :)
