Morning Visit with Maddie

Sunday morning after church, Matthew and I drove to Maddie's to visit with her and the kids.  Matthew loved following Joshua James and doing whatever he was doing :)  Matthew loved the tractors and the cows.  The baby calf moo'd to him and so of course Matthew said moo back!  So cute.  He had fun, but I do think liked getting in the tractors best!  Then after the walk down the driveway to the farm, Matthew played inside with Juliet and they had some of their own conversations since the are only 6 mos apart.  So very cute :) Thanks to Maddie she fed us lunch too!  It was a nice visit and one we should do more often! Feeding Baby Lambs in Barboursville

As part of the CVille Playgroup I am in, today, Matthew was able to go feed baby lambs, chickens and collect an egg the chickens laid along with a tractor ride! He had a great time and had no fear of the animals. He pet the lambs and wished the chickens ate out of his hand like Abby does. He carried around bread in his fist for so long waiting for a chicken to eat out of his hand. He didn’t understand he was supposed to throw it like you do for ducks/birds. As you can tell from the pictures he enjoyed himself and loved that his friends Owen and Chloe were able to come too!

Fridays After Five

Friday Daddy left town for a wedding and to see his grandfather.  Matthew and I met Chloe, Erin and Grant at Fridays.  Matthew had fun as he always just loves being outside!  He learned what sidewalk chalk was and enjoyed writing on the concrete area.  Then Chloe liked to pretend Matthew was a baby and pretend to give him his water and milk.  She was in charge of his drinking intake J Here are a few pictures of him and Chloe.  He pretended to be tired a couple times with his blankies.

Easter Weekend

Happy Easter!  We hope everyone enjoyed their Easter weekend!  We did!  Thanks to the Katstra's offering to watch Matthew, Ryan and I were able to enjoy a very nice dinner at Bonefish alone :)  We were able to enjoy our great meal and have conversations!  We really appreciated Dirk, Michelle, Austin, Ryleigh and Ryan all taking such great care of Matthew.  He loved all of them and really did not want to leave.  We really appreciated all their help!  Then Sunday morning, the Easter bunny did make his arrival for Matthew and he was able to pick up eggs in the backyard and he got a special Easter basket treat at his door too!
