Ryan just had 2 beautiful dozen roses delivered to my work for Happy Early Valentine's Day. We promised each other we would not buy anything just go to dinner that night, so of course I was actually shocked and I was elated to see them. Pictures are below :)
I have the BEST HUBBY EVER!! Today, I am 14 weeks and 6 days, meaning tomorrow I will be 15 Weeks!! YEA! Tonight I am babysitting, tomorrow we are hanging with Friends and Saturday is Kelly and Ryan day ending with dinner at Bonefish! Hopefully I will have more belly pictures to post next Tuesday night or Wednesday.

This weekend I went to Bernie’s wedding with Maddie. We drove up on Friday after work, had some awesome Mexican food in Gainesville before headed to Christine’s. Saturday morning we attended Bernie’s beautiful ceremony at their church in Maryland. Following we headed to Maggiano’s in DC where here reception was held and we had an amazing lunch. I have to say I think it was the biggest Maggiano’s I have ever been to and the staff couldn’t have been nicer! Bernie and Anthony seemed very happy so I am so happy for them. They are going on their honeymoon to St Bart’s and Bernie if you read this take LOTS of pictures. I want to see, sounds amazing! Not too long after Maddie and I had to head back. I got to hang out with Joshua James or a little while as Maddie and Josh went to a dinner. Joshua James and I had tons of fun! He is a ball of fun and I just love being around him!!
Onto this week, yesterday after work I had my prenatal swimming class and today I have prenatal yoga followed by Junior League Meeting. Thursday, I am babysitting which I am looking forward to as well! Saturday I may get to see and hang out with Christine, so yippee, and Saturday is V-Day! Saturday, I get to be with my HONEY all day!! So exciting; he is the best hubby ever!!!
Yes, we know Ryan's parents LOVE Abby, well Poppie did want to make her famous. So of course she got a big picture on the Raleigh News & Observer. Their main big paper in Raleigh, NC so check it out! :) Hope you enjoy. Of course there was a slight typo, they thought it was his dog, but that is ok. We know who she really lives with :)
THANK YOU JIM, Abby will look at this picture every night in her crate. She is liking her crate more again. I don't know if she gets annoyed with mom, peeing every couple hours because every night in the middle she decides to jump off the bed and head into her crate to sleep.
Since I last wrote, I have had book club. This month we are reading He's Just Not That Into You. Then our book club girls plan on going to see the movie together either later this month or hopefully early March. We have hung out with our neighborhood friends and have babysat a couple times. It has been a pretty nice couple of weekends. I am always enjoying all of my prenatal water and yoga classes. Oh and how could I forget, I did go to Bernie's Bachelorette night. It is always wonderful to hang with my college/sorority girls again. This weekend I will be going back up to northern va for Bernie's wedding and Ryan will be going to Lynchburg area for Stephanie's wedding. We had to split up since we have two weddings the same day. I will miss him for sure!
About me and baby White. We are doing GREAT! Feeling well and today I am 13 weeks, 3 days!! We just received test results back for the early screening and all looks good and healthy. We are very blessed to have had such a terrific pregnancy thus far. We are looking forward to the day we get to find out the sex. This month we will get to hear the baby's heart beat too which is exciting as well!
Oh and lastly, we have finally planned our babymoon trip (last big vacation before our family begins). We will be flying out to LA for a cruise to the Mexican Riviera on a 7 night cruise on the Sapphire Princess. I am soo looking forward to our vacation as I do every year. It doesn't end there; when we return to LA on the 11th of April we will then fly to Las Vegas to visit my sis. We will be staying at the Mandalay Bay which I am ecstatic to see her and stay at this hotel. I cannot wait to visit Kendra, after all she has visited us soo many times, we are overdue.

Yea! We just had our first ultrasound this morning!It went well! Heart beat was 167 which is supposedly good. I think he/she wanted to sleep because he/she would not move around and lay the way the ultrasound tech wanted it too. I had to cough a few times and walk around to try and wake it up :) he/she waved his hand to say hi a couple times. He/she looks like it has long legs too :) hopefully it will get Ryan's height :) Well love you all and hope you enjoy the photos; they aren't as clear as I'd like, but it is ok. By the looks all looked good, but we will get the test back in about a week to see if it has down syndrome, so hopefully all will be clear there as well.I have to say I am doing pretty well too :)

Today I am 11 weeks and 3 days and counting :-) 200 days till August 7, 2009. We are doing well. Looking forward to the ultrasound on Thursday!
Last week, I had my prenatal water and yoga classes as usual, Junior League on Tuesday, the UNC vs UVA game on Thursday and the Friday night Ryan and I stayed in and laid low. We got Christian's Pizza for dinner; MY FAVORITE :)
Saturday, I went through the closet in the smaller guest room to try and make it as organized as possible. Ryan and I gave a lot of things away too to Salvation Army! We then had to go buy a new humidifier. Our old one was super pricey and broke :( I need the humidifier because otherwise our room just gets so dry; I didn't seem to have any problems when I was younger, my parents need to tell me the trick :) Anyways now we have a new humidifier which I love and it was MUCH cheaper than the one that broke, so hopefully this one will last a while.
Anyways, let me get back on track, Saturday night, we went to dinner with Katie and Michael. That was nice; a treat from them to us! And then came home to pretty much crash.
Sunday, we slept in and was pretty lazy all day and Erin brought Chloe over to see me and Ryan. She is so cute and precious! It was a nice surprise. :) This was Abby's first experience with a newborn around. Abby was shaking whenever Chloe was crying; she was unsure what to do. Then Abby saw Chloe's pacifier and attached to it is a little red dog to help her hold it. Oh once Abby saw that she thought it was a toy for her. Anyways, Abby did ok and was just not sure what this newborn was all about. Then that evening we went to church and ended the night with continued laziness by picking up Chinese food :)
It is nice to have lazy weekends every now and then. I figure Ryan and I should enjoy them, since it will be different when we have our little one around.
As far as this week: tonight - I have my prenatal water class after work tomorrow - our work is having yummy pizza for inauguration and then I have my prenatal yoga class after work Wednesday - nothing exciting Thursday - OUR 1ST ultrasound!!!! yippee!!! we are sooo excited! and then I have my prenatal water class after work and then off to book club Friday - probably laying low Saturday - off to DC for Bernie's Bachelorette Party and return Sunday
Today, I am 10 weeks and 4 days and counting :) Still hanging in there and doing pretty well. This past weekend Ryan and I laid pretty low. I babysat on Friday night and then Saturday went to our HOA mtg. Following that Ryan came with me to attend and informational session/social as part of my prenatal program. We learned some about how to read your baby and know what it is trying to say before it can actually talk. It was interesting and made a lot of sense. Saturday afternoon we headed over to Capps' house just to watch the bball game (VT vs UVA at Blacksburg). Sunday we went to church and just hung around the house. All in all it was nice to have a relaxing weekend!
Sorry there was nothing too exciting this time, but next week only a few more days and the first ultrasound picture will be seen :) YEA!

We are 9 weeks as of January 2nd and we are both doing very well. I haven't vomited which is great. Hopefully I will have my mom's genes all the way through. I love counting down the weeks and I am just praying for a healthy baby. We have our first ultrasound on January 22nd, so God Willing we will be able to hear the heart beat. As my belly gets bigger I will take pictures to post and we will try and do a better job of updating the blog. My goal to to keep everyone updated on our progress as well as still our adventures in our life. All the best, The White Family! :)
My sister and brother had the best reaction. I took a picture of them at Brunch when we got in Christmas Day and they read our card we gave them to tell them the news. I think our families are all very ecstatic. All went well. We got to see baby Carson too, My cousin, Renee and Chris's first son. He was born on October 23rd, 2008. That was a blast to spend time with him.
Visiting Dallas to see my Mom's family was wonderful. We enjoyed every moment!
After Dallas we headed to Miami for the Orange Bowl. and YES, the outcome was fabulous because my HOKIES WON!! YEA!!! Plus the weather couldn't have been more perfect, I didn't want to go back to the Virginia cold :(
It was nice to see my dad and Whittney too. I was able to ask my dad lots of questions and he helped guide me in certain directions during my pregnancy.
